Pacific Journalism Review has featured West Papua media missions, “endangered journalists” and freelancers in the Asia-Pacific region in the latest edition of the research journal published today.

Associate Professor Camille Nakhid, chair of the Pacific Media Centre’s advisory board, praised the quality of research contemporary issues in the edition.

Editor Professor David Robie of the journal confessed to experiencing a deju vu feeling as the journal had celebrated 20 years of publishing in November 2014 at the very same venue.

But this time it was being launched as part of the cluster of activities marking the 4th World Journalism Education Congress (WJEC) conference at Auckland University of Technology this week.

The journal printed and distributed by Auckland’s Little Island Press, was also released as an online edition today at INFORMIT database.
