Thousands of protesters in Chile and Peru – as well as in New Zealand – protested against the signing of the controversial Trans Pacific Partnership trade deal linking the economies of 12 nations.
More than 2000 activists marched through Santiago late last month to protest against the TPP agreement which Chilean President Michelle Bachelet signed on February 4 in New Zealand.
The signing ceremony, hosted by New Zealand Prime Minister John Key, was also challenged by more than 25,000 people protesting in the streets of Auckland.
