Headline: Press Releases: New Zealand Defence Force Training Contribution to the Counter-ISIL Coalition

We welcome New Zealand’s decision to contribute New Zealand Defence Force personnel to a Building Partner Capacity training mission in Iraq as part of the Counter-ISIL Coalition. As one of our partners in the coalition, New Zealand has already provided substantial humanitarian assistance to Iraq and Syria. We value the contributions and efforts of all partners in the mission as we work together on a multifaceted and long-term strategy to degrade and defeat ISIL.
